Ever notice that the really “fast” racers at the track seem to know all there is to know about racing and their chassis adjustments seem to always hit the mark? I’ll let you in on a secret ... it’s because they “understand” chassis theory and can predict how their adjustments will affect their chassis!
Come build your knowledge base with Gee and Gee racing, IMCA Canada and some of Alberta’s most successful racers all assembled at one place.
Daytona 500 Alberta Promoters and Racers Workshop
- To be held Feb 13 -14 at Gee and Gee Racing in Leduc.
- Focus on helping local racers, getting promoters together and announcing what is new for 2010.
- Conference style 2 day meeting to include: Chassis school (Pavement and dirt), Guest speakers,
Chassis set-up Q&A session, Promoters meeting, IMCA meeting, ending with big screen Daytona
500 party.
We are currently working on putting together a comprehensive 2 day event and will release more information as it becomes official. |

Saturday February 13th at Gee & Gee’s shop
We finally have all the details in place!!
We will start off at 9 am with news from local tracks, promoters and sanctioning bodies.
o What is new at EIR and Castrol?
o What’s going on with the new classes, Hornets, Modifieds, Late Models and more?
This chassis school is open to all and it’s free!
The focus will be a back to basics approach; too often racers get tied up in knots trying to figure out the latest and greatest trick for going fast without taking care of the basics first.
We will provide you with solid chassis theory and a no non-sense approach to on track chassis set up and adjustment.
In this seminar we will take a close look at:
o Safety
o Maintenance
o Chassis set up
o Front end angles and set up
o Cross weight, stagger, scale reading basics
o Reading your tires, pressures, sizing and temps
o Adjusting at the track
o Practical tools for the pits
