GUIDELINES FOR THE 2010 MR. LUBE 100
1. All drivers must have a valid drivers license, in their name.
2. All cars must abide by the street stock rules of their home track. If the car is not raced under a regular club rulebook, it must meet SSCRA specs. Proof of ownership mandatory.
3. All racers must bring a current, to this season, rulebook for the street stock class from their home track [except SSCRA members].
4. All cars will run their home track tire rules. Saskatoon cars will be allowed to run unbranded Cooper Cobra tires above their regular season allocation. Cars running asphalt racing tires, with or without D.O.T. labelling, will be required to run a handicapping device to be determined during spring testing. (i.e. extra ballast, wickerbill, etc.)
5. All cars must pass tech inspection before being allowed on the track.
6. General street stock description: steel bodied cars, factory stock frame, stock suspension, gasoline engines only [no alcohol], cast iron heads and block, no antifreeze.
7. Minimum safety requirements: D.O.T. helmets, 5 pt harness, fireproof coveralls, securely mounted steel fuel tank, 6 pt roll cage, window net, fire extinguisher.
8. All cars will be teched within the guidelines of fair competition and general safety. Any car seen as unsafe, unfair, or not within the parameters of a street stock will not be allowed to run, according to the head tech persons discretion
9. Head tech person has final say.
10. Top five cars subject to post race inspection.
