Something of interest. Canada had strong representation in Kalispell this weekend at the Montana 200.

Trevor Emonds 4th
Brian Levant 10th

43 cars entered

A lot of heavy hitters in this race! So....looks like we got a couple heavy hitters of our own.......way to go guys!!!

Wow,

And didnt Brians car end up on fire or something like that?

Great runs!

I can remember only a few years ago where canadian guys just struggled to make it into the big race.

Easily one of the best racing experiences i've ever had! Very Happy

Super late models!

I raced my Blue car with this gang down in Kalispell a few times before my EIR Nascar days.

Great fun...... these guys flat out fly!!

www.racingwest.com (mixed bag of stuff, great latemodel news though)

Fastest pavement cars our side of the boarder!. (and the N.W. USA) Lower,wider,faster,10 TIMES BETTER than any canuckle tire series car or race you'll EVER see on TSN.

Craziest thing I ever saw happen on a race track, in 01 I think it was. With about 10 laps to go if I remember right, the power goes out at the track and all the lights go out, it was so dark, I couldn't see the person standing in front of me. All you could hear was squealing tires and engines shutting down, I figured they would ball up 3/4 of the field for sure. Nobody hit a thing but it must have been some scary behind the wheel of a latemodel when all of sudden you are blinded by the light of your own tach! Shocked

To put in perspective, the race was one for the 4th time in a row by #73 Gary Lewis (not sure the # but multiple time Nascar Northwest Tour Champion), and 3rd was Jeff Jefferson (another NW Nascar Multi time winner, and winner in Nascar K&N Series West)

And many heavy hitters that i recognize didn't even make the show.
