Yes, thanks again for a little bit of magic last night. We Just weren’t sure we had the cars bang on the pavement set-up after the BCR & Drum runs last weekend.
Off to the ARCA show today, hopefully Jesse and I can stay as competitive as we've been in the Hat for 2 more shows.
Wolf Pack………I'm confident Merl will do well if he doesn’t get collected in something. Lucky 13!!!! |

Johnny B, Gordy B, and Doug M are all working on their cars today! Gordy & Doug are almost done, and Johnny's will be ready soon too. Gordy is driving a different car this year. So they will be representing FSJ, not sure if anyone else is going to make it or not. Should be a good show, sad I'm going to miss it this year!!

Merl asks 'who will win the 2010 Wolff Pack ?'
Great question, with so many possible answers.
But before I take my guess at the winner, I will say with absolute certainty who will NOT win the 2010 Wolff Pack. - Me.
Sadly, once again the Wolff Pack is on the same weekend as the Northwest Modified Nationals in Elma Wa.
As great of a race as the Wolff Pack is, and as much as I would love to win it, one race is 3 hours from Vancouver and the other is 18 hours.
Maybe next year they won't conflict....
As for guessing the winner; ( I haven't seen an entry list, so I'll assume two different possible senarios.)
#1. Because of the location, the prestige and money may catch the attention of the racers out of Estavan and N.D. If that happens, they'll be tough to beat.
#2. If it's our regular IMCA guys, still a hard call ;
- Barber and Heffner are on home turf, in front of their own fans, that carries some weight.
- Dease is usually strong, but I haven't heard much about him this year.
- Roger is always a factor.
- Not sure that Dan Lee's crew, or the FSJ boys can be consistent enough to pull it off.
- Galloway is probably the favorite, and with the best record, but still beatable.
- If the Estavan/N.D. guys don't come, my prediction for the winner of the 2010 Wolff Pack Run is .....
.....Jason Lasalle.
We'll see. |

Sorry to hear you are not coming Lawrence
Thank you for your thoughts
This are the kind of answers I was looking for
Anybody else?
Do we have a drivers list yet?
Did Roger get his car repaired?
Who can guess right on how many cars?
2 more sleeps
Highway repairs should be slowing traffic to a crawl
Leave early !!!
Good Luck Traveling

No Roger did not and cannot repair his car this season. It will be a winter project.
Anyone know how many of the 41 listed Estevan cars are showing ? With the different rules, etc. probably only 20 would not have to change things to race. _________________ #9 Fan |

Betcha he has a plan B! .. It's Roger!.. And he won the last Main in Swift didn't he?
As for Merl's Q&A's
Im going with 44 cars to start day 1.
Couldn't agree with Lawrence any better!:
Estevan,ND guys showing up will raise the mark for everyone..
Galloway winning the last 2 in a row peg's him as "the man".
Lacelle, Barber, Heffer... 3 hometown boys with GREAT chances, and GOOD cars
Jonny B, could suprise all...
West Stair, Last years overall point leader going into day 2, could have a good showing too!
Dave Dease, ALLWAYS strong. Looked good in Drum but got unlucky in the pile-up I believe
My "loonie bet" goes to..... #66 Heff's racing team.
Was strong At BCR (win) AND Drumheller (2nd) the last race's on July 17/18. With great heat races both days as well.
Top 11 in no order except Bob:
1. #66 (Heffer)
Lacelle #66
Barber #59
Estevan guy/ND guy
Stair #22
Jonny B (FSJ) #88
Dease #10
Galloway #21?
Barber #59
Estevan guy/ND guy
Boneville #9
Good luck to all!
Did I mention the Stampeders beat the Riders 40-20 last week?

Gordy Beaumont and Doug Mitchell just hit the road, should be arriving tomorrow afternoon! And Johnny is planning on leaving in the morning. My bet is that at least ONE of these FSJ boys is going to finish top 3, they are all running really well this year! Can't wait to hear how everything goes, good luck and safe driving to everybody!
